Our oldest has gone camping once before but it happened to be with me while my husband was deployed last year. Now she can officially say she has gone camping with both parents. In a couple of weekends we will be able to go together as a whole family...finally. This chick ate 3 hot dogs, bun included, some yoohoos, and 2 smores. Hungry little pig ate more than her daddy! They had a blast around the campfire, played with friends and came home wreaking of smoke. Hooray for the daddy-daughter campout!
This past weekend we made a short visit to North Carolina for a Harnett Central High School Reunion! So, as with any special occasion we got all fancied up. Look! I got my hair did! Somehow I managed to paint my toenails and shave my legs in the same day! I'm sure there are some busy moms out there who know how that goes!

Okay, so the North Carolina Zoo is seriously the coolest zoo we have ever been to. One, you get to get up close to so many of the animals. Two, the animals have SO MUCH SPACE to roam. Three, they have an interactive dinosaur park that totally ate my husband. Enough said. It was awesome!
The kids had a blast! Savannah brought along her favorite little stuffed animal giraffe, "Molly" and she got to meet her Mommy and Daddy giraffe! Abigail loved EVERYTHING and wasn't even afraid of the mean ones! Yes, that includes the T-Rex!

Thaaaat's right! Triathalon Relay and it was SUWEET! Bone Crushin' Ballerinas with Eric as a stand in honorary Bone Crusher. 1500m swim, 23 mile bike, and a 6.2 mile run. Boom baby!

Having fun at Tyson's Corner for a train ride with friends and some park time. Fun day with friends!
Happy Birthday to me! Best double date! We went to a country line dancing joint and it was AMAZING! So fun and so going back! Thanks to some great friends I got a wicked cool umbrella, some dazzling earrings and a yummy ice cream cake from them. You guys are the best and we are totally doing it again. (Yes, I said totally.)

My Happy Little Family

Hey ya'll! Thanks for visiting my blog. Let me know if there is anything you like!
Here is Part One to Easter this year. Today we cut Easter shapes out of playdough using themed cookie cutters. We made an Easter craft out of paper plates and a few of our preschool craft items to make this adorable bunny. We'll probably do the Easter egg hunt tomorrow with some friends so we at least got the egg coloring done tonight! What a blast!
Here is part two! Today we made Easter cookies for the kids to decorate. They got their traditional Easter baskets with a few fun things. We spent the evening with some great friends and managed to have a successful egg hunt with eight kids all three and under. What a fun Easter!
